Over the summer we had a ton of technical problems with the podcast and it pretty much got to the point where we weren't very motivated to keep doing the show since every time we did, something serious seemed to go wrong. Also, life got in the way for a while.

Anyhow, for the past few months we've been looking for a new way to do the show that wouldn't be so technically challenging and we'd also been playing around with the idea of doing a live show. I'm happy to announce that we think we've found a good home and a way to do it live and allow all of you to call in while you're listening to the show.

We've decided to change the name since SRS-O was a little too surgery-related and Susan centric.

The new show is called Brief Moments of Sanity and will be similar in format to what SRS-O was (news, interviews, discussion) but will probably be a little more broad topic-wise than just trans-related stuff.

Our first show will be this Tuesday, March 25th at 8pm-9pm Pacific, 11pm - 12am Eastern. To listen to the show, visit us at http://www.blogtalkradio.com/briefmomentsofsanity. The call-in number is (646) 200-3002.

Sometime soon we hope to have a website up at www.briefmomentsofsanity.com with more information about the show. Archives will also be available in podcast form after the show airs on both the blogtalkradio.com site and on iTunes. We'll have more information as soon as there's an actual archive.

We hope all of you who enjoyed SRS-O will come join us at our new home. If anything, it'll be fun listening to the train wreck of us hosting a live show...for the first few episodes, anyhow.
